Van Gogh's Starry Night And The Fabric Of Spacetime.

Maybe, I'm linking variables that shouldn't be linked. Maybe, I'm seeing patterns where I shouldn't. But I am convinced that Van Gogh's starry night has had a tremendous impact on how I perceive the sky. Here's a little story.

This painting allowed me to see the sky from Van Gogh's perspective or opened my imagination to another world.

As humans, when we look up at the sky, all we see is-
1) Blue
2) Stars
3) Sun
4) Moon
5) Clouds
6) Darkness

But our minds and imagination can truly move through different intersections of space and time to look beyond the obvious. We are currently overdependent on our eyesight. When we look at the sky, all we are 'capable' of seeing is the 5 things I mentioned above. But why don't we have the 'natural' ability to understand that we are rotating along with the Earth and revolving around the sun in a Universe where we cannot see the edge, nor the end or beginning. We are part of something that is constantly expanding, that this universe is infinite. We are infinite. This universe and the world we live in is not finite but infinite. The telescope and astro-physics tells us that, but why can't every human realize this on their own? Why is this so hard to realize? Do we have to constantly break the human/animal instinct within us and think through the fabric of spacetime? If we could all realize that we are only merely living through different intersections of space and time, the world would be taking steps to live beyond our 'animal' instincts.

Why is it so hard for us to realize that we live in a fabric of spacetime? Where the past, present and future already exist? Where there is a possibility of multiple universes existing depending on the decisions we take.

My perception of the sky has changed after thinking deeply about what this painting could mean and how Van Gogh perceived the world and of course because of Einstein's relativity theory.

One thing that I have realized is that our rational and irrational imagination truly breaks the obvious that we see amongst us. All we need to do is think big and support our imagination.

Think beyond what you see because it may be true. That's all you need to solve infinity.
